Audio memory book for funeral homes

More than condolences.
The voices of those who loved them.

During the visitation, loved ones pick up a vintage phone and share what they will keep of the person, say goodbye or leave a few words for the family. The family receives every message in an audio album.

Turnkey: we install the phone and prepare every album. For your team, about one minute per family.

Why a memory book

Stories the family may never have heard.

Families receive condolences in many ways. What is rare are the moments of a life: afternoons fishing by the river, Sunday recipes, the things they always said.

A card next to the phone reassures everyone: there are no right or wrong words.

The family can listen to these voices for the rest of their lives. And for your team, there’s almost nothing to do.

How it works

From the visitation to the album, in four steps.

01

A phone in the room

We install the phone in your funeral home, with a card inviting visitors to share a memory, and show your team how it works.

02

Loved ones share a memory

They pick up, wait for the beep and share the memory that comes to mind, or what the person meant to them. They can say their name or stay anonymous.

03

Your team fills out a form

Before or after the visitation, about one minute. The phone is connected to your Wi-Fi: each message reaches us as soon as the visitor hangs up.

04

The family receives its album

Within 48 hours, they receive an email with their listening page, the audio album and the PDF booklet.

What the family receives

Every voice from the visitation, gathered in one album.

A listening page

The photo of the deceased and every message, with the name of the person who left it. On phone or computer, to share with the whole family.

The audio album

All the messages back to back, in a single file to keep forever.

The PDF booklet

Every message transcribed, to read or print. Also designed for people who are hard of hearing.

Also for those who could not attend

A private link lets them leave their message from their phone. The family can also add photos and the memorial video.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do people have to say their name?

No. If they introduce themselves, their name appears in the album. Otherwise, the message is signed “A loved one”.

What if someone picks up and hangs up without speaking?

Empty calls and false starts are removed. Only real messages make it into the album.

Who can listen to the messages?

Only the family. The album opens through a private link given to the family contact, who then decides who to share it with.

What about loved ones who could not attend?

The family receives a private link to send them. They leave their message from their phone, and it is added to the album once the family approves it. The family can also add photos and links, such as the memorial video or the ceremony webcast.

Can the family remove a message?

Yes. They can remove a message or correct a name before sharing the album.

How long are the messages kept?

The album stays online for 12 months. The family can download everything from day one: the audio album, each message and the booklet.

What does my team have to do?

Fill out a short form for each family, before or after the visitation. The obituary link is enough. About one minute.

Is an Internet connection required?

The phone connects to your funeral home’s Wi-Fi. If it loses the connection, it stores the messages and sends them to us as soon as it’s back.

What if the phone breaks?

We maintain it and replace it as needed.

Is it discreet?

Yes. The phone sits there with no screen and no visible technology. Visitors pick up if they wish, just as they would sign the guestbook. No one is approached.

How much does it cost?

A monthly subscription per funeral home, with no commitment, including a set number of guestbooks. The first two months are free. Get in touch and we’ll send you our rates.

Is it available in English?

Yes. The album, the booklet and the service are available in English and French.
